Version
The TE-8 expanded metal system uses a T24 rail construction common to drywall but concealed, making both the substructure itself and the installation of the overall ceiling particularly economical and efficient – but all with the appearance of a drop-in cassette.
Assembly
T24 support rails with quick-action tensioning hangers must be suspended plumb and flush from the bare ceiling at a center distance of 1200/1250 mm by means of approved dowels, screws, etc. The distance between centers must not exceed 1200/1250 mm. The suspension distance must not exceed 1200/1250 mm in the axial direction. Between the main rails, the cross rails 1200/1250 mm long are clipped in at an angle of 90° at a center distance of 600/625 mm. The TE-8 cassettes must then be hooked into the substructure in such a way that they can be removed at any time.
The laying mark must always be in the same direction. A checkerboard pattern on the ceiling caused by twisted panels must be avoided and will not be accepted.
The expanded metal cassettes are usually cut to size on site. The edge connection is made using a system-compliant stepped wall angle.
